Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | PBM Consulting
Partners in Behavioral Milestones (PBM) is a therapist owned family of companies located in Greater Kansas City specializing in intensive behavior support and skill building. We offer comprehensive therapeutic services within our private school, specialized residential group homes, crisis intervention centers, and through our SLP/OT/PT and Field Consulting divisions.

Our Field Consultants specialize in children and adults with behavior disorders and a variety of developmental disabilities including autism. They work with families in diverse settings and in partnership with service providers and members of our client’s support team. We also provide workshops and trainings on behavioral management approaches, positive behavior support, and education on development disabilities.

We are currently hiring several Field Consultants who will be responsible for supporting clients and their significant support providers in reducing problem behavior and building appropriate, functional skills.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Demonstrated success in developing realistic, workable behavior support plans, building commitment and overcoming caregiver resistance to plans, evaluating results and supporting those involved.
- Displays creative thinking and innovative approaches and ideas, generates suggestions for improving work, and meets challenges with resourcefulness.
- Ability to understand complex cases and how to approach and provide service for a variety of different individuals. Skill in prioritizing, using time efficiently, setting goals and objectives and developing realistic plans.
- Experience in reading, analyzing and interpreting data, writing reports, presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, parents, staff, and the general public.
PBM is offering our BCBA new hires a $1,000 bonus: $500 sign-on and $500 stay bonus after 90 days as well as relocation expenses to the Greater Kansas City area if needed. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | CSP
Partners in Behavioral Milestones (PBM) is a therapist owned family of companies located in Greater Kansas City specializing in intensive behavior support and skill building. We offer comprehensive therapeutic services within our specialized residential group homes, private school, crisis intervention centers, and through our SLP/OT/PT and Field Consulting divisions. The Behavior Analysts working in our residential group homes specialize in adolescents and adults with severe problem behaviors and a variety of developmental disabilities including autism.

We are in need of a licensed BCBA who is primarily responsible for supporting clients in reducing challenging behavior and increasing positive and appropriate behavior by performing the following duties including, but not limited to:
- Conducting relevant assessments (FBA, ABLLS, PA, etc. ) and creating BSPs;
- Utilizing data to reflect current levels of behavior as well as to direct and evaluate interventions and programming;
- Managing authorized hours for each client and assisting in preauthorization and ongoing authorizations;
- Providing ongoing monitoring and training of support staff to ensure effective implementation of BSPs; and
- Providing documentation to appropriate entities of progress through progress notes, other reports, and visual data.
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- BCBA certification and 3-5 years experience utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques in a residential group home setting required - experience with adolescents and adults with severe problem behavior preferred;
- Demonstrated success in developing realistic, workable BSPs, building commitment and overcoming caregiver resistance to plans, evaluating results and supporting those involved.
- Ability to successfully complete all required training as directed by PBM including but not limited to Professional Crisis Management (PCM), Abuse & Neglect, First Aid, CPR, etc.;
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance coverage; and
- PC skilled with proficiency in electronic management and organization of data (i.e. graphs).

Behavior Plan Implementer | Milestones Academy
Our Behavior Plan Implementers at Milestones Academy are primarily responsible for working as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide direct behavioral intervention services to young children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. This position involves working one-to one with children while following the child’s Positive Behavior Support Plan and implementing an Individualized Education Plan.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Confidence in interacting with individuals with disabilities and ability to solve simple and complex problems regarding services and support provided to students
- Be able to work independently and within a team atmosphere
- Have a positive attitude while demonstrating dependability, promptness, and responsibility
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Services, Special Education or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with special needs children particularly with severe behaviors is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Pass all required federal, state and company required background checks
- Must complete and pass all required training courses as directed
Physical Demands: The incumbent must be able to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Talk, stand, walk, run, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and get in and out of vehicles

Behavior Plan Implementer | CSP
Partners in Behavioral Milestones (PBM) is a family of companies located in Greater Kansas City dedicated to creating meaningful change for individuals with disabilities. One of our affiliated organizations includes Community Support Partners (CSP) which provides specialized residential services in highly-staffed group homes for adolescents and young adults with developmental disabilities including autism. Because of the intensive behavioral challenges of our clients, our homes are staffed 24 hours a day with a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio.

Behavior Plan Implementers are responsible for supporting clients in reducing challenging behavior and increasing positive and appropriate behavior by performing the following duties including, but not limited to:
- Master the intricacies and implementation of the clients’ Person Centered Plan (PCP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP) as well as any other programs/processes needed to provide direct care;
- Document recordable events accurately on Behavioral Data Sheets and Shift Review forms; and
- Take initiative and demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm when working with clients including assisting with personal care needs, teaching new skills, and transporting (i.e., medical appointments, shopping, community outings, etc.).
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Services, Special Education or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- One (1) year experience working with developmental disabilities preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Confidence in interaction with individuals with various disabilities and ages and ability to solve simple and complex problems regarding services and support provided to clients; and
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands The incumbent must be able to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
